Great! That means you are eligible to receive $240 in savings on purchases. Here is how it works.

The short story is:

You sign up here as a "Member" for a year and we give you $240 worth of store credit that you can spend with Boulder MMC.

 

The full explanation:

There is no cost to become a member and we will help you with all of the necessary paperwork. Members receive the $240 savings as well as lots of other coupons, deals and monthly specials. Members also get lower prices everyday on everything in the store.  You will have an allowance of $20 per month that can be used as a credit or towards a purchase.

When you sign up as a member of Boulder MMC you assign us as your Medical Marijuana Center and we in turn can grow up to 6 plants for you and we can have up to 2 ounces of Medical Marijuana on hand for you.

Once you join Boulder MMC as a member you CAN still shop at any other dispensary. You just CAN NOT assign any other dispensary as your Medical Marijuana Center for a period of one year. (PLEASE NOTE: While the State of Colorado does allow changes every 120 days, Boulder MMC requests a full year membership as a part of this offer.)

NO, I do not have a red card.

You need a red card in order to shop at any dispensary. To get a red card you need to do a few things:

You have to go see a doctor for a recommendation, which works like a prescription. The doctor visit costs between $60 and $150 which must be paid at the tme you visit the doctor. We can help you make an appointment if you like. (*If you are indigent and can't afford the doctor visit, financial aid may be available.)

Once you have been to the doctor and you have received the doctor's recommendation you need to complete the application to the State for your red card. The application needs to be notarized and must include a copy of your picture ID and proof of Colorado residence. We can take care of all of this for you.

Once you have the recommendation, the notarized application and the copy of your ID, you also need a check or money order of $90, and then all of these documents need to be sent by certified mail to the State of Colorado. We can take care of all of this for you. (*If you are indigent and can't afford the application fee, financial aid may be available.)

Once the State receives the application, they will send you your red card in the mail in 7-10 days. As soon as you receive your red card, you can shop here (or at any other dispensary in the state).

Financial aid is available for indigent patients. Please come by our store at 2206 Pearl St. for an application.

 

How to get Your Red Card

2) Make sure that you have the proper identification.

To successfully apply for a red card you also need a valid photo ID card and proof of residence in Colorado.  The acceptable forms of identification and proof of residence are:

At least 1 of the following:

ColoradoDriver’s License

ColoradoID

Temporary ColoradoDriver’s License

Temporary ColoradoID

Or at least 2 of the following:

Minimum of 1 from the group of ID’s below -

Out of State Driver’s License

Out of State ID

Passport, Military ID, Tribal ID

And a Minimum of 1 from the group below -

Colo Work Identification/paycheck stub/W-2

Utility bill, medical/insurance bill or cable bill

The above items must show a Colorado residence

3) Make an appointment to see a doctor to receive a Physician’s Recommendation.

The doctor will need to be paid at the time of your visit. (Doctor Visit Fee may be paid through financial aid for indigent patients).  We will be happy to help you make an appointment if you would like.

STEP 2: The State Application Process

At the time of your doctor visit you will receive a “Physician Recommendation” form signed by the doctor. 

Come into Boulder MMCwith your signed Physician Recommendation form and we will assist you with the rest of the process in applying for a red card.

a)      We will help you properly fill out your Application for a red card

b)      We will provide the required notarization of your signature on your application

c)      We will make a copy of your photo ID card

d)      We will provide a pre-addressed envelope

e)      We will provide certified postage

f)        We will help you put the Physician Recommendation, Application, Copy of Photo ID and $90 check or money order into the pre-addressed envelope. ($90 Fee may be paid through financial aid for indigent patients)

g)      We will help you write your return address on the envelope

h)      We will deliver the envelope to the post office for delivery to:

STEP 3: The Fun Part

Once you have received your red card, you will be able to purchase medical cannabis at any medical marijuana dispensary in Colorado. When you come to Boulder MMC for the first time with your red card, we will help you fill out the Boulder MMC Membership Agreement form prior to your first purchase. You will then be able to receive access to all member areas, receive a complete tour of the facilities AND make your first product selection!
